I bought this hook shelf to hang in our laundry room, I forgot to get the "before" shot, but I really liked it because it was simple, however I did not like the color of the wood, so I thought I have some dark cherry stain, lets revamp it!
Here is what the wood like before I sanded and stained:

After sanding (4 step process) I used mineral spirits to clean the wood before staining.
