We are a no shoes house. We actually were like this before we had a baby, but totally more OCD about it now. Our little girls room is where she plays and (use to crawl all over the place.) I saw this saying online and thought it was so cute. For about a year I had a paper sign on my daughter’s door. Since I own the amazing Cricut I thought I could make a really cute sign for her door. So here it is!
I have always loved hand making items for family and friends. 2015 was a busy year, aside from a growing a baby I made 5 baby blankets! In 2016, my friends were having more babies, I decided to go a different route. I saw these Mary Jane shoes on Pinterest. I thought they would be so cute to make for my friend and for my little one. The instructions were a little overwhelming and long. I don’t enjoy making complicated things. I honestly do better looking at the final product and then figuring out in my head how I want to tackle this. For those of you who have the same mindset as I do I hope you will find this post to be helpful. Continue reading
My daughter had her first adventure at “Magic Kingdom.” How could I resist not having a customized outfit for the day right? Especially since I own a Cricut. No excuses. Customized shirts really seem to be a thing now a days. When we were at the park we couldn’t believe all the people walking around with them. You can find these custom outfits on shops like Etsy OR you can make your own.
It’s time for another toy roundup! Today I am sharing with you our favorite toys for the 12-18 month old age group. I tried to keep this post for the most part “gender neutral” so that both Mommy’s of girls and boys can find this review resourceful.
For those of you who do not know me, I am Lucy obsessed! I have been obsessed with her since a wee young age. So its no surprise to those who know me why I would not want to create something “Lucy” inspired for my daughter. Continue reading
Oh boy, I cannot believe I am starting this post (originally started in August). Where did my baby’s first year go? People tell me all the time, they grow up so fast. I am still in shock to say that I have a one year old!!! We spend so much time with her and we love watching her grow, I cannot say anything more than, I just love being Mabel’s Mommy!
So while browsing the outlets, I came across this gem for a whopping $0.99. If I could not come up anything creative, I figured that it would be a cool memento, especially since it had the year my daughter was born on it. Continue reading
Woohoo! My 3rd post in 3 days! I am on a roll! I have so many more “pending posts” but the hubby and I are finishing up what we thought was going to be a month project, now turned into a summer project. I have also broke out the easel and started painting again. Its been a hectic but fun summer. Stay tuned…
Happy Bump Day! Continue reading
A few months ago I wanted to purchase a CD player for daughter’s room. I wanted to be able to play CD’s while we play in her room and have her listen to classical music while going to sleep. My husband suggested we just buy a speaker and use one of our old phones and play Pandora. Yes, this would be the “cost effective” way to go. But one, we listen to the free version of Pandora, so I did not want loud commercials to wake my child up and second, I wanted to be able to play certain music at certain times. We are slowly starting a collection of up of all the Disney movie soundtracks. I thought a CD player would be the best way to go. Continue reading
My friends always said that families change when you have kids, but I never bought it into it. I thought they were crazy. I have great relationships with both sides. Nope not me! I started to see the changes during my pregnancy but just thought it was my hormones. Then my precious little girl was born, and the changes were so evident. I began seeing things that my friends talked about, but I never believed. Continue reading
