DIY Disney Onesie

My daughter had her first adventure at “Magic Kingdom.” How could I resist not having a customized outfit for the day right? Especially since I own a Cricut. No excuses. Customized shirts really seem to be a thing now a days. When we were at the park we couldn’t believe all the people walking around with them. You can find these custom outfits on shops like Etsy OR you can make your own.

Music for Baby

A few months ago I wanted to purchase a CD player for daughter’s room. I wanted to be able to play CD’s while we play in her room and have her listen to classical music while going to sleep. My husband suggested we just buy a speaker and use one of our old phones and play Pandora. Yes, this would be the “cost effective” way to go. But one, we listen to the free version of Pandora, so I did not want loud commercials to wake my child up and second, I wanted to be able to play certain music at certain times. We are slowly starting a collection of up of all the Disney movie soundtracks. I thought a CD player would be the best way to go. Continue reading

New baby, new ways (update)

My friends always said that families change when you have kids, but I never bought it into it. I thought they were crazy. I have great relationships with both sides. Nope not me! I started to see the changes during my pregnancy but just thought it was my hormones. Then my precious little girl was born, and the changes were so evident. I began seeing things that my friends talked about, but I never believed. Continue reading

Nursery Reveal

Here it is! We had so many projects lined up, we were able to complete almost all of them with the exception of the custom closet. There is just not enough time in the day to tackle everything. We decided to move the custom shelving project to our pantry which would be 100 times more beneficial to us. So that will be a future project.

Nursery Wall Art

Since we are not finding out the sex of the baby we decided it was best to go with something gender neutral for the nursery. Most of you know I love pandas! This was the perfect opportunity to incorporate pandas into the mix. I did not want to go black and white theme and base it just on the pandas, so I thought why not make it jungle themed/ABC themed. That way I am not limited to just buying panda items. My goal is to keep the nursery colors fairly light and pastel-like. That is just always how I envisioned our child’s nursery to be.
