Valentine’s Day is almost a week away! I am excited because this year my little one is in the toddler room and they are having a Valentine’s Day party. I have been trying to figure out what to do for a while because not all the children have teeth yet, and I pretty much ruled out candy because everyone is still a little too young. I ended up going the “Gerber graduates puff” route. You can see my creation here.
Today I am sharing my “toddler friendly valentine” craft project. It was a toss up to figure out what to create for my child’s upcoming Valentine’s Day party. I went back in forth between food or stickers, I settled on the idea of food. Then I had to narrow it down to small group of “healthy-like” foods for toddlers. We are slowly starting a collection of up of all the Disney movie soundtracks. I thought a CD player would be the best way to go. Continue reading
We are super excited this year, we get to celebrate Christmas with both of our families in our new home, that’s 15 family members all under one roof (you know like a “Home Alone” setup.) So much to do, so little time, here I am already thinking about all the little details and its only October! I have a million different ideas for recipes and decorating all going through my head. My sister-in-law and I are going to be planning this together! Continue reading
One of my girlfriends is having a little boy and she decided to decorate his room based on the Disney movie “Cars.” She was telling me how ridiculous the price of artwork was to display on the wall. I thought about some and thought, I do paintings for my house why not attempt this for her. When it comes to painting I am more the “abstract artist” I am not usually one to paint people/animals or cartoons. I did some searching online and she gave me a picture of what the baby’s bedding would like and here is what I came up with…
