Our child has a lot of toys, watching her play and grow over the first year we noticed she became attached to a few of these toys. The toys we chose are good for the first year and probably a bit over. They have brought entertainment to our little girl as well as us. They teach her about colors, numbers, animals and so forth. She is not only learning what color the circle is, but she is learning how to push buttons and start to understand how things work…”Cause and Effect.”
Oh, what fun it! Winter is almost officially here. I know it’s been a while since my last post. Between, Halloween, stomach bug, Thanksgiving and a 3 week inner ear infection I am pretty much back up and running!
I love to reminisce and look at pictures from the past of our family. Here is kind of a before and after. This was our family in the late 90’s.
Oh boy, I cannot believe I am starting this post (originally started in August). Where did my baby’s first year go? People tell me all the time, they grow up so fast. I am still in shock to say that I have a one year old!!! We spend so much time with her and we love watching her grow, I cannot say anything more than, I just love being Mabel’s Mommy!
Its about time, we hope you bring some cooler weather because this summer was just way too hot!
I created a Fall bucket list for our family, we always seem to check off everything on this list, but now with a baby and mommy brain, I thought by “actually creating the list” it would keep us on track.
So this is it, what was suppose to take us about a month, turned into a summer project. This project has been on our to do list for quite sometime. I tried to take as many pictures during the process. This was our first “big” project since baby, my husband did 80% of this project by himself, while I did the 20% which was painting. But in between many baby naps, we finally completed the project and we are so happy with the way it turned out.
In the 14 years we have been together, we have been on some pretty amazing adventures. By far one of the best adventures was our trip to Ireland. We traveled throughout Ireland at our own pace and were able to see so many different cities and experience so many amazing things. Continue reading
So while browsing the outlets, I came across this gem for a whopping $0.99. If I could not come up anything creative, I figured that it would be a cool memento, especially since it had the year my daughter was born on it. Continue reading

Hands down, Lucille Ball, is my all time favorite actress/comedian. I have been watching her on TV since I was a wee little one. I can name or tell you about the episode by watching just the first minute! I have read so many books, I know her life story, struggles and so on. I am obsessed!
Woohoo! My 3rd post in 3 days! I am on a roll! I have so many more “pending posts” but the hubby and I are finishing up what we thought was going to be a month project, now turned into a summer project. I have also broke out the easel and started painting again. Its been a hectic but fun summer. Stay tuned…
Happy Bump Day! Continue reading
